MAZ, bzw. eigentlich MAS steht für "Minski autamabilny sawod", das bedeutet auf deutsch Minsker Automobilwerk. Es ist eine weißrussische Firma, die LKWs und Busse herstellt, und 1944 gegründet wurde.
